Omaha, NE, February 1, 2019:  With less just a little under 2 months before the 2019 season begins, the Omaha Beef are excited to announce the following players have signed for the upcoming 2019 season.

The Omaha Beef also added another offensive threat to their arsenal with the signing of multi-dimensional Running Back/Wide Receiver Drew Prohaska. Beef fans have had a front row seat to Prohaska’s talents over the past several season while he was a member of the Sioux City Bandits. Prohaska’s last season was a dominant one as he accumulated 614 rushing yards on 126 carries to go along with 21 touchdowns.  Omaha Beef Head Coach James Kerwin, “Drew is a threat to running the football, catching the football and even returning the football. With all of those skills, we can never have too many players like him on the football field at any given time. Drew brings explosiveness and elusiveness to the Omaha Beef and were fortunate to have him playing for us this season”.




Kayne Farquharson returns to the Omaha Beef for another season and is excited to make his mark on the team. The 6’3 200lb former University of Miami standout brings a physical & size dynamic to the Omaha Beef offense for the upcoming 2019 season. Beef Offensive Coordinator Chuck Wright on Farquharson, “Kayne is a player that can make everyone’s job on offense easier including myself. He is a savvy veteran receiver who is deceptive in his routes and angles. Our quarterbacks will be looking to his side of the field consistently all season”.




The Omaha Beef kick off their historic 20th season Saturday, March 16th at the Ralston Arena when they host the 4 State Fusion.
