2020 Coaching Staff
HEAD COACH MARVIN JONES ANNOUNCES 2020 COACHING STAFF RALSTON, NE – Marvin Jones, Head Coach of the Omaha Beef professional indoor football team, today announced his coaching staff for the upcoming 2020 season. On the offensive side of the ball, Damon Ware joins the Beef as Offensive Coordinator. Ware spent 2019 on the Nebraska Danger coaching staff, of the Indoor Football League, where the Danger advanced to the conference championship game. Ware previously served with Jones in Cedar Rapids and Colorado of the IFL.
Along with Ware, Jones announced that Coleman Gore was promoted from coaching intern to offensive line coach. Gore is a long-time, local high school and college football coach. Gore currently coaches at Malcolm High School.
Jones will continue to serve as Defensive Coordinator, along with Head Coaching duties. Adam Loftis will return and coach defensive backs. Gregg Hendricks will return as equipment manager and assist with football operations.
Jones stated that he was happy to have the experience and knowledge on this year’s staff. “We are fortunate to have a group of guys, with not only a great wealth of indoor football experience, but these guys have experience at almost every level of football,” Jones said. “That was something that we were focused on, as we obviously want to try to win a lot of games, but also develop players and help their professional careers, both on and off of the field.”
Omaha finished the 2019 regular season 8-4 and lost the Conference Championship game 44-42 in July.
